Job Description:
The ideal candidate at least should be 8 years of experience in procurement with at least 5 years in the oil and gas projects only (Powerplant & petrochemical experience will not be considered) hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office and site support tasks and work diligently under pressure with a focus on EPC pipeline construction manifolds skid and equipment installation works. Experience with computer software such as Microsoft project this person will be comfortable working with strong attention to details and discretion Excellent problem-solving critical thinking skills and analytical skills and has excellent communication interpersonal & organizational skills and is willingly open to learn and develop new skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide planning and cost analysis support for product introduction projects or insource/outsource strategies.
- Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
- Support technical development of vendors.
- Investigation of cost-potentials at vendor processes to drive price reduction.
- Negotiation with suppliers on new components and cost reduction initiatives.
- Perform technical and commercial review of long-time vendors (subcontractors quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements.
- Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal project management team as required.
- Perform project costing related reporting to the team and managements review on regular basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
