We are currently recruiting for an intern to join our Human Resources Team at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa Edinburgh
Build upon your classroom studies through our Hotel Internship Program opportunities. You will learn first-hand about a hotels operations. Our Hotel Internship Program allows you to truly experience the industry from the ground up where our founders and many of our leaders began. You will get immersed in Marriotts culture and business and find your true calling in the travel industry. Our internships are typically available in many different areas of the hotel. The ideal candidate will be customer focused with an approachable personality and the ability to establish positive relations quickly. It is expected that you would develop skills enabling you to multi-task under pressure and deal with all situations in a confident and professional manner. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is also essential for this position.
- Excellent command of English language (verbal and written)
- Working towards a BA Degree in Hospitality or Business Management with HR
- Positive attitude with a passion for the HR profession
- Ability to effectively communicate at different organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills
- Creative and proactive
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent grooming standards
- Experience using with Microsoft Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
