Job Description:

The Syracuse Crunch are looking to add to their mascot team. The participant will work under the direction of the Community and Crunch Foundation Manager as well as the Promotional Team Manager. The mascot will be a part of the Crunch Crew and is expected to greet fans at the Upstate Medical University Arena participate in in-game promotions and help maintain the energy at all Crunch home games as well as community events.

Objective/Goals:

The part-time mascot will be asked to represent the Syracuse Crunch at community events and Crunch home games. The mascot will interact with an extensive range of fans at these events and get the experience of working for a professional sports team.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older/ have proper NYS employment certification.

Conduct/behavior that adheres to the organizations core values mission and vision.

Must be good with children.

Able to improvise and be friendly animated and energetic.

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days nights and weekends as needed.

Must have reliable transportation.

Ability to skate and have your own pair of skates is a plus.

Time:

Can include days nights and weekends.

Ability to work at most scheduled home games beginning at 5 p.m. as well as postseason contests.

Summer availability is a plus.

Compensation:

Hourly compensation for games and events worked.

Ticket vouchers to home games of your choice.
