Alamon Inc. seeks a Tower Technician Level 1 for its Wireless Service department. This position entails: assisting in the installation maintenance and repair of wireless communication infrastructure on cell phone towers rooftops and other elevated structures. Welcome to Alamon Job Description: - Assist in the installation assembly and maintenance of wireless communication equipment including antennas cables and related components.
- Safely handle and transport tools materials and equipment to and from the worksite.
- Assist with the setup and operation of rigging winches and hoisting equipment.
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the company and government regulations.
- Assist in routine maintenance checks inspections and troubleshooting to identify any potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Assist in cleaning organizing and maintenance of tools to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Report damages and malfunctioning tools and equipment for repair and replacement.
- Adhere to industry standards regulations and safety procedures per government and company regulations.
- Work as part of a crew and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
- Perform other job-duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Qualifications: - Must pass the pre-employment screening process which includes a background check drug test and motor vehicle records pull.
- Have the ability and mentality to work outdoors in a physically demanding work environment and all-weather conditions lifting or moving up to 50lbs. and hiking over various terrain.
- Possess a current and valid drivers license and a clean driving record with no DUI / DWIs within the past 5 years.
- Be available to work nights and weekends as required by project demands.
- Willing to travel locally statewide or regionally as required.
Work Environment: - This position will work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and on varying terrain. May work for long periods in hot cold wet windy or icy conditions.
- Exposure to dust odors gases vapors wet or slick surfaces and loud noises is possible.
- Must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
Physical Demands: - This is a physically arduous position that requires working outside in varying weather types and exposure to the elements.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Be comfortable at heights of 1000 ft or more.
- Must be willing to work either day or night shifts when necessary.
Travel Requirements: - Occasional travel will be required based on the needs of the project.
- Transportation and lodging are provided while traveling and working out of town for the Company.
Education and Experience: - Trade school or equivalent experience.
- Highschool Diploma or GED Preferred.
- Demonstrate abilities to successfully complete job tasks while accepting full responsibility for the safe operations and maintenance of the vehicle equipment and tools.
