We are seeking a part-time professor to teach SED1514: Introduction to Sustainability for students in the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Design program at the Faculty of Engineering School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation University of Ottawa. Masters degree or higher in Environmental Science Sustainability or a related field
Fluency in French (written and spoken)
Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
Strong understanding of sustainability concepts multidisciplinary collaboration and experiential learning approaches
Ability to engage students from diverse academic backgrounds in collaborative hands-on activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multidisciplinary or experiential education in sustainability
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g. United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals)
Industry or research experience related to sustainability social innovation or
environmental impact
Please note that this position requires teaching in French.
