Are you passionate about revolutionizing manufacturing processes and driving innovation As a Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) youll play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge manufacturing solutions to support New Product Introduction (NPI) cost reduction and plant productivity initiatives. How Youll Create Possibilities

  • Lead Capital Equipment Projects: Develop specifications manage supplier selection and oversee installation and qualification of robust high-volume manufacturing equipment.

  • Drive Innovation: Optimize processes by integrating lean manufacturing principles and advanced technologies like collaborative robots and AI systems.

  • Ensure Standards & Safety: Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards incorporating ergonomic designs and Human Organizational Performance (HOP) principles.

  • Foster Collaboration: Partner with design factory operations and Lean teams to enhance manufacturability material flow and workstation setups.

  • Mentor and Grow Talent: Support team development by mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the advancement of the AME organization.

What Youll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline OR equivalent hands-on experience in technical/manufacturing capabilities.

  • 7 years of experience in manufacturing equipment and process development.

  • Proven success in managing capital equipment projects including supplier selection installation and qualification; including the ability to meet deadlines and budgets for construction and equipment projects.

  • Communication and leadership skills to engage with a variety of teams from shop floor operators to senior management.

  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Six Sigma certification and Lean process improvement expertise.

  • Proficiency in MS Office scheduling tools and AutoCAD.

  • Prior involvement in NPI programs.

  • Experience with Collaborative Robots and AI systems is a plus

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 10% local or domestic travel may be required based on business needs.
