Are you a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional looking to make a meaningful impact National Counseling Group (NCG) an ncgCARE partner is seeking a Mental Health Professional Team Lead to join our team. At National Counseling Group our mission is to deliver compassionate evidence-based care across multiple service types. The Mental Health Professional Team Lead plays a vital role in our mission to deliver coordinated individualized care to our communities.

The Team Lead is responsible for supervising a team of QMHP-level professionals overseeing daily operations ensuring clinical and administrative compliance and exercising independent judgment in areas such as productivity management case assignments and service delivery coordination. This role serves as a key liaison with community partners and provides leadership in training performance oversight and quality assurance. The Team Lead is responsible for the management of personnel as it relates to performance and operational readiness in an assigned site/location. This is a non-clinical position that is charged with ensuring employee performance is in keeping with company standards and all applicable local state and federal laws and regulations. The Team Lead is held accountable for the completion of administrative tasks to ensure operational readiness and success.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises a designated group of QMHP-level staff providing performance oversight mentoring and support.
  • Responsible for managing staff productivity utilization documentation compliance quality assurance and adherence to timecard and PTO policies.
  • Participates in personnel-related decision-making including scheduling performance feedback and corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensures that staff maintain compliance with clinical and operational policies and standards.
  • Independently manages referral workflows and case assignments reviewing documentation and making case decisions as appropriate.
  • Coordinates with community partners and stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery
  • Leads weekly Quality Assurance (QA) reviews to ensure documentation and service delivery meet regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree inPsychology Social Work or a related human services field is required.

Certification: Qualified Mental Health Professional registration required.

Experience:Minimum two (2) years of proven direct care and/or management experience in the health and human service field. Knowledge in Business Administration and/or Quality Assurance preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Must posses a valid drivers license with a driving record in good standing
  • Must be highly organized and task oriented.
  • Must have working knowledge of and be well-versed in Ethical and Legal practices in accordance with local guidelines informed consent trauma-informed service delivery cultural humility and appropriate Team Lead modalities.
  • Must have the ability to make sound decisions and judgements in keeping with all applicable local state and federal regulations governing our services.
  • Must be proficient in G-Suite Microsoft and other applications necessary to learn and perform daily job tasks and essential duties (e.g. email word processing spreadsheets etc.).
  • Working experience with Electronic Medical Records (EHR) preferred
