POSITION: Bereavement Administrative Assistant Part-Time (20 hours/week)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bereavement Administrative Assistant position performs a variety of specialized and administrative functions to support the bereavement department and the Bereavement Coordinator. This role is accountable for supporting the bereavement events mailings intern program and the quality of all bereavement services. This includes acquiring resources according to budget coordinating the efforts of bereavement team members and overseeing the responsibilities of the bereavement department as it relates to community outreach and bereavement programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred.

Credentials:

None

Experience:

Two to three years of experience in events management preferred. Nonprofit experience and/or hospice experience are strongly preferred.

Core Competencies:

Excellent written and verbal communications skills strong attention to detail accountable and dependable. Possess ability to plan implement and organize. Skilled in Word Excel & Power Point. Efficient and can meet deadlines.

Other:

Valid drivers license reliable transportation and auto insurance.
