We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I (CNA)
Hours: Per Diem
Shift: Night shift weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Century 4 - St. Lukes Hospital New Bedford MA
- Century Four is a 36-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in the care of the respiratory patient. Population includes patients requiring ventilator support BI-PAP and other treatment modalities not commonly seen on other acute care units. In addition to the respiratory patients Patients are admitted with general medical diagnosiss. The unit also provides observational telemetry.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager Patient Care Services or designee perform a variety of duties including basic care personal hygiene mobility nutritional support maintain patient environment and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties etc.
Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
