Clifford Road Primary School are seeking to recruit one or two caring inspirational and dedicated Teaching Assistants One-to-One to support the learning and pastoral care of pupils. You will need to be able to form a positive and consistent relationship with pupils focussing on creating a calm secure and consistent working environment. These posts will initially involve supporting individual children with Special Educational Needs. A skilful person who has experience working with children who have complex and sensory needs is preferred but dedication to the role is more essential.
You will:
- have up to date Safeguarding knowledge
- have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- have experience of working with pupils across all age groups including EYFS
- the ability to think flexibly and use own initiative in supporting the learning needs of our pupils
- be able to follow direction
- be flexible and committed to working as part of a team
- be passionate about supporting all children within an inclusive classroom environment.

We are a 2-form entry school with 403 pupils on roll and 24 children in our nursery at the heart of the vibrant town of Ipswich. We would welcome visits to our school and this is strongly encouraged.
