PacAeros core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the worlds most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee WA with a remote manufacturing site Bonded Metals located in Sequim WA. Working together we employ proprietary technologies best practices engineering and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the worlds most extreme environments. PacAeros products are hard at work in medical components such as cardiac-function devices on key aerospace & defense programs in space and deep below the earths surface.
The Position:
Pacific Aerospace & Electronics based in Wenatchee WA is looking for a QC Inspector to join our quality inspection team. An employee in this role will need to perform final inspections of products to verify conformance with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
Shifts include:
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Primary Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with all employees.
- Willing to adapt work schedule to company needs.
- Attendance / Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently use applicable measuring tools such as but not limited to Calipers Micrometers and Height Gage.
- Demonstrate a basic ability to read and comprehend drawings and applicable inspection documentation.
- Initiate Non Conformance Reports as required.
- Perform product identification and traceability activities as required (Material and Process certification retrieval).
- Review shipping paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Lead
- Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to Management personnel.
- Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality safety and work related rules and regulations
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and / or ability required.
- Good hand / eye coordination (fine motor skills dexterity).
- Specific vision ability to have natural or corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye capable of passing the Jaeger Number 2 test and a color vision test..
- Able to work with a Microscope for extended periods of time.
- Read write speak and comprehend the English language.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to sit and or stand for an extended periods of time.
- Basic math skills.
- Willing to work with hazardous chemicals.
- Seeks out duties to ensure you are consistently productive.
- Consistently meets company minimum labor efficiency rates.
Education & Experience Required:
- High School Graduate.
- 0 to 1 year of experience training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
- 1 years of experience and training.
- Legible handwriting.
- Ability to follow basic instructions with some multi-tasking skills.
- Dependability: Follows instructions responds to management direction; takes responsibility for ones own actions.
- Initiative: seeks increased responsibility looks for and takes advantage of opportunities asks for and offers help when needed.
