Founded in 1968 by Mr. William Coleman the Coleman family has been serving local car buyers and owners since the 1950s. Mr. Coleman envisioned a dealership that set a new standard for customer service-believing that the residents of Bethesda and Washington D.C. expected more from their retail experiences. His forward-thinking approach to customer care laid the foundation for what would become a trusted name in automotive sales.
That legacy continued with his son Jim Coleman who led the companys expansion throughout the 1980s and 90s growing the brand portfolio to include Toyota Infiniti Honda Jaguar and Land Rover. Today Jim Coleman Automotive proudly operates 9 franchises across Maryland including locations in Bethesda Silver Spring Clarksville and Ellicott City. Who Were Looking For:
Someone who is outgoing enthusiastic and full of positive energy. A natural people person who takes pride in helping others and finds joy in connecting customers with the perfect vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome customers warmly and guide them through the car-buying process based on their needs and preferences
Conduct test drives and explain key vehicle features and technology
Respond to internet inquiries using best practices and dealership guidelines
Support all walk-in customers in the showroom
Build lasting relationships to generate referrals and a loyal customer base
Collaborate with sales managers and BDC staff to maximize every opportunity
Stay informed on industry trends and dealership standards
Complete all required training and certification modules (including Cadillac certification if applicable)
Most importantly-deliver a memorable experience for every customer while maintaining professionalism and having fun
