Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft compelling motions briefs and legal documents
- Develop and work closely with expert witnesses throughout litigation process
- Handle all aspects of discovery including document review depositions and case strategy
- Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client development
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active Louisiana bar admission (required)
- 2-5 years of experience specifically in complex commercial litigation
- Proven experience with expert witness development discovery depositions and motion practice
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client service skills
