Corporate Planning Strategist

Plano TX Hybrid Option

Toyota Connected is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Corporate Planning Strategist to work with our Product Procurement Business Operations and Finance teams to manage business modeling financial forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage technology and analytical tools to enhance data analysis reporting and decision-making processes.
• Perform business modeling financial forecasting and budgeting processes to help ensure alignment with strategic goals and resource optimization under guidance.
• Initiate market research analysis to assess internal and external factors impacting internal investments.
• Actively contribute in scenario planning exercises to evaluate various outcomes and prepare the organization for different situations.
• Prepare reports and documentation summarizing key planning activities findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Assist in the identification and assessment of risks associated with strategic initiatives including proposing risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide coaching and guidance to more junior team members contributing to their upskilling and professional development.
• Monitor and track OKRs to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic plans and identify areas for improvement.
• Actively contribute to strategic projects and initiatives from planning through execution ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in financial analysis strategic planning or similar role.
• Demonstrates in-depth and comprehensive knowledge and skills in financial modeling concepts excelling in executing low to moderately complex tasks independently with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in conducting financial analysis including understanding financial statements budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in conducting scenario analysis and forecasting to assess potential outcomes and plan for uncertainties.
• Uses knowledge to improve processes/work methods under their control.
• Demonstrates problem-solving troubleshooting decision making skills.
• Solutions-oriented with an ability to keep an open mind while finding agreeable solutions.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to develop healthy working relationships and collaborate with peers and leaders.
• Exhibits integrity and high standards in work quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Values diversity and differences amongst individuals in interactions
