Job Description
Selected individuals will teach weekly for maximum of 4.5 hours per day 5 days a week schedule determined by the building administrator. The daily 4.5 hours include 30 minutes of planning and communication time. Additional hours per month are given for professional development. The teacher will work with students in grades 6-7-8 in small groups for 52 minutes each session.
General Responsibilities
Teach daily for a maximum of 22.5 hours per week (4.5 hours per day)
Teach students in 6th 7th and 8th grades
Targeted students will be at non-proficient level
Flexibly group students based on progress monitoring scores
Use the Achieve 3000 intervention program and materials
Administer progress monitoring and program assessment as needed
Written communication with principal/classroom teacher at least weekly
Regular communication with parents
