We have a customer in Wickenburg AZ who has an IMMEDIATE long-term direct hire opening for a Mechanical Solidworks Designer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position click APPLY NOW.
In this role you will use SOLIDWORKS to do mechanical design 3D CAD modeling and detail drafting of heavy equipment mechanical parts welded and machined assemblies sheet metal hydraulics pneumatics and E/M wiring harnesses etc. for large road maintenance equipment. You will produce production ready documentation including detailed drawings BOMs process instructions and provide technical support to Sales Customer Service Inventory and Engineering.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position and must be worked on-site in Wickenburg AZ. Work schedule is 4/10 hours days Monday-Thursday.
Salary is - $80000 range
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- AAS or equivalent experience THREE years experience using SOLIDWORKS in a manufacturing environment
- Must be proficient with 3D CAD modeling parametric design and detail drafting
- Understanding and experience with large machine structures and mechanisms metal fabrication/mfg. processes (machining welding assembly)
- Familiarity with hydraulics pneumatics machine controls
- Ideally experience with sheetmetal surface modeling fixture/tooling design electronics and machine control systems
