Job Description
Location:Arcata CA
Start Date:Continuously recruiting (Depending on clients needs)
Schedule: Monday - Friday and Weekends as needed
Pay Range:$16.50/hour
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to assist with warehouse operations including loading unloading and transporting materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move stack and organize materials
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and follow warehouse procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a forklift operator
- Forklift Certification (training on site)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
