What you will do for Harris County Precinct 4
Harris County Precinct 4 is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Project Specialist to join our Operations Special Projects team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety functionality and visual appeal of Precinct 4 facilities.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors tackling a wide range of tasks throughout the dayfrom physical maintenance to project support activities. This is a dynamic active role that requires flexibility initiative and a strong work ethic.
The Project Specialist must be able to follow supervisor instructions adhere to park rules and regulations and demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with the public. Interpreting and communicating approved policies accurately and respectfully is essential.

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) or more years of related experience as a project specialist or similar role
Comparable combination of education training and/or experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis
Licensure:
Valid Texas drivers license with a good driving record.

Experience:
Familiarity with landscaping maintenance equipment and general construction tools. (preferred)
Licensure:
Possession of a Texas Department of Agriculture Agricultural Applicator License. (preferred)
Possession of a Texas Irrigator License. (preferred)
Commercial Drivers License (CDL). (preferred)
Position Type Salary and Typical Hours of Work:
Regular Full-time 40 hours per week
This may include weekends and holidays.
