Job Description

Position Summary:

The Clinical Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing specimen inventory databases by compiling analyzing and verifying data. The Clinical Data Analyst will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to standardize data collection processes and to ensure that data can be shared and accessed across multiple platforms.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and compile externally and internally sourced data
  • Development of clinical data testing systems including design documentation implementation and reporting
  • Working closely with the clinical operations laboratory operations and data management teams to ensure accurate and consistent collecting and recording of data
  • Development of procedures or software to compile data from multiple sources or platforms into comprehensive reports
  • Implementation of project-specific procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and internal best practices
  • Writing of standard operating procedures and work instructions related to data analysis workflows
  • Training of fellow employees and external users in the use of equipment and software
  • Updating and reporting relevant results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science Health Sciences BioInformatics or related field
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience

Other Required:

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
  • Able to handle a variety of clinical research tasks
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Requires good attention to detail excellent documentation skills and must work well in a group environment
  • Must be a flexible agile team player who can change activities and directions quickly and respond to a variety of assignment and changing business needs
  • Good technical skills in querying and analyzing data (Excel SQL Oracle or similar)
  • Must be able to read write speak fluently and comprehend the English language

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Health Sciences BioInformatics or related field.
  • Programming/data analyzing experience in MedrioSQL Oracle or similiar

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
