Job Description
Job Site: Bon Air Middle School
Hours/Days: 37.5 hours per week186 days (9.5 months)
Hourly Rate: $12.28 per hour
Benefits: Group insurance programs PERF paid leave days
Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one and in small groups with students. Be willing to work in middle school credit recovery setting. Provide remediation support for students. Applicant should be able to work well with school staff and students of all ages. Complete other duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Abe to work well with students parents and teachers/administrators.
High school diploma or equivalent; AND
Haveoneof the following or willing to obtain to be highly qualified:
- Two-year college degree
- Passed ParaPro Assessment
- 48 credit hours of college level classes; OR
- Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA)
- Kokomo School Corporation Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification
