Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the newly opened Cirque Beachside Hotel in Sarasota FL. Our Maintenance Technicians report to our Chief Engineer and ensures a memorable guest experience by working to upkeep our beautiful new property.

Compensation: starting at $18.00.
Responsibilities and Daily Activities Include:
- Maintains a professional positive friendly demeanor with guests and fellow associates at all times.
- Complete maintenance request work call orders from guests and hotel departments in a timely basis.
- Completes assigned work orders for general repair within assigned time frame in order to achieve efficiency of the hotel its safety and its equipment. P
- Performs systematic checks and inspections to upkeep the hotel and assists in the established proactive maintenance program in order to prevent malfunctions breakdowns and general depreciation.
- Maintains tools work spaces and equipment in safe secure and good condition.
- Partners with other engineering associates as well as other departments to ensure a smooth operation.
- Communicates effectively and professionally utilizing 2-way radio system.
- Follows all established safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Other duties/project work as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role
- General knowledge/experience in HVAC/refrigeration electrical plumbing drywall carpentry painting pool & spa etc.
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and ability to multi-task
- Aptitude for problem-solving
- High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively; ability to speak understand and read English.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Ability to be responsible dependable punctual adaptable.
- Demonstrated professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 5 hours at a time over an 8-10 hour shift.
- Ability to bend squat reach twist turn and climb stairs regularly.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds at a time.
