Community Solutions have 2 vacancies & are seeking talent with an interest in the mechanical field committed to completing a 12-month full time traineeship to gain a Certificate II in Automotive Accessory Fitting.
Our host business is based in Garbutt and offers services such as suspension upgrades vehicle lighting bull bars dual battery systems tray & canopy installs roof racks awnings rooftop tents and all things AWD camping and fishing.
The Traineeship will involve but not be limited to:
- Working in a workshop environment
- Long periods of standing
- Lifting
- Manual handling
- Routine tasks relating to replacing fitting installing and adjusting automotive accessories
- Assembling parts and accessories
Requirements:
- Must have manual drivers licence (preferred or working towards)
- White card (or willing to obtain)
- Understand the importance of workplace health and safety
- Good work ethic
- Enjoy practical work
- Previous experience is highly regarded
- Have good hand-eye coordination
- Be available to work Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
- Ability to pass Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol test

Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
