CDP Case Manager
- $75000-$80000 p/a super
- 6 weeks leave 17.5% leave loading
- NFP salary packaging ($15899 tax free)
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Based in Darwin with travel to Wadeye as required
TDCs focus and objective of the Community Development Program is to provide the local people of the Thamarrurr Region with sustainable employment.
The Case Manager is responsible for supporting job seekers into training employment and enterprise opportunities developing realistic job plans for individuals within a case management framework mentoring participants to overcome barriers to employment in a culturally competent manner.
About you
- Previous experience in case management including use of ECSN system
- Previous experience in developing high quality relationships with people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds (especially indigenous peoples)
- Sound organisational skills including attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision as well as participate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a compliance framework and achieve results in a timely fashion
- Empathy and understanding of the issues and challenges faced by staff and job seekers in remote communities
Essential Licences / Clearances prior to commencement
- NT Drivers Licence (Class C)
- National Police Check
- NT Working with Children (Ochre) Card
- NLC work permit (with assistance from TDC)

The Wadeye Community (formerly Pt Keats) NT is located in the Western Daly River region an area rich in cultures wildlife and ecosystems. Wadeye is the Territorys 6th most populous town and one of Australias largest remote indigenous communities. We support the Wadeye community through a range of areas including Housing & Construction NDIS Aged Care Employment & Training Enterprise Development and more.
