Responsibilities
The Manager of Clinical Practice and Development manages the development implementation and evaluation of educational programs to achieve and maintain clinical excellence at their assigned Community Medical Centers (CMC) facility or facilities. Provides oversight for all facility nursing on-boarding professional education and learning clinical competency development regulatory practice updates and promotes and institutes nursing research projects. Uses continuous improvement processes to advanc0e the professional development of nursing staff unit leaders clinical nurse educators and clinical nurse specialists to enhance overall clinical excellence and ensures these processes are in alignment with CMCs business initiatives mission vision and values.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Masters Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
3 years of experience in an academic or clinical unit setting as an Educator and/or Clinical Nurse Specialist required
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
