Job Summary:
Operate scrapers (Cat 637) and other heavy equipment including bulldozers (D9 and D10) graders trackhoes water trucks and articulated trucks to move and manage material across various sites. Training will be provided to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.

Responsibilities
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Operate assigned equipment for excavation transport and material handling as trained.
Perform pre-operational equipment inspections and monitor performance checking fluid levels brakes tires hydraulic lines and other critical functions.
Clean and maintain equipment and perform routine lifting and shoveling tasks.
Assist co-workers with material transfer as needed.
Maintain safety standards and contribute to a safe work environment.
Work independently in isolated areas when necessary while adhering to established protocols.
Schedule:
Primarily Monday through Friday.
Day Shift:4:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Night Shift:2:30 PM - 2:30 AM (includes a $3/hr shift premium)
Most holidays off; occasional weather-related downtime.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
No previous heavy equipment operating experience requiredtraining will be provided.
Ability to read write speak and understand English.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor work with exposure to temperature extremes.
Moderate to heavy physical demands.
Note:This position is for motivated individuals looking to develop skills in heavy equipment operation within a team-oriented and safety-focused environment. We are hiring for both day and night shifts with transportation occurring between Belle Fourche SD and sites in Wyoming (WY) and Montana (MT).
