ScottishPower Energy Networks (SPEN) is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to take on a pivotal role in shaping and managing our Cyber Security Risk team. This position is central to ensuring that cyber risks are effectively identified assessed and communicated across the business supporting strategic decision-making and safeguarding our operational technology environments.
As the Cyber Security Risk & Governance Manager you will define and maintain the policies frameworks and methodologies that underpin our cyber security posture. Youll lead a dedicated team driving forward key objectives aligned with SPENs Cyber Security Strategy and work closely with senior stakeholders including the Head of Governance Risk and Assurance the Cyber Security Forum and the Audit & Compliance Committee.
Your expertise will help establish and embed a robust Cyber Governance Model ensuring that cyber security is governed consistently across all areas of the business. Youll be instrumental in developing our Cyber Risk Profile implementing data governance practices and supporting the adoption of risk tooling. This role also involves producing governance and risk committee papers managing exception procedures and maintaining key risk and performance indicators.
Collaboration is key. Youll build strong relationships across global and local teams contribute to the global definition of cyber security strategy and provide expert advice across SPENs business units and corporate functions. Your insights will inform assurance activities and help guide risk-based decisions at all levels.
Were looking for someone with deep technical knowledge and industry-recognised qualifications such as CISSP CISM or GICSP. You should bring significant experience in cyber security risk management and governance ideally within a global organisation and the UK energy sector. Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 and an understanding of OT environments are essential.
