Job Title: MD DCH Pediatrician Consultant

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients including diagnosis and treatment of various conditions.
- Conduct thorough examinations to assess children s health and development.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations as required.
- Monitor growth and development milestones in children.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate parents and guardians on health-related issues and preventive care.
- Response effectively to pediatric emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in pediatric care protocols.
- Engage in community health advocacy and outreach programs.
- Attend and participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pediatric medicine.
Qualifications:
- MD in Pediatrics or DCH (Diploma in Child Health) with a valid medical license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric diseases and treatment protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Experience in managing outpatient and inpatient pediatric cases.
- Ability to connect with children and their families empathetically.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous education.
- Experience in conducting community health outreach programs is a plus.
- Proficiency in emergency pediatric care practices.
- Knowledge of health policies and regulations related to child care.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Fluency in local languages is an advantage.
