Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging English language curriculum plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Conduct daily lessons in accordance with the curriculum utilizing a variety of instructional techniques.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and analyze student progress and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Integrate technology into lessons to enhance the learning experience.
- Encourage collaborative learning through group projects and discussions.
- Manage classroom behavior to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities to promote a well-rounded education.
- Stay updated with educational trends and strategies to improve teaching practices.
- Prepare and participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
- Facilitate student understanding of literary analysis and composition skills.
- Encourage reading and writing through diverse and inclusive literature.
- Help students set academic goals and provide support in achieving them.
- Maintain records of student progress and prepare reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in English Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in English.
- Proven experience in teaching English to middle school students.
- Strong understanding of educational philosophy and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan lessons and create effective assessments.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in English education.
- Experience with educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing educational needs.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for fostering a love of learning in students.
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal.
