Position Description
We are looking for a young talent who wants to show the skills and knowledge acquired at university and bring them into the real world. You will assist the company in matters of drawings 3D modelling rendering etc. You will be working at our on-site office on the beautiful island of Sicily for 3-6 months (full time: 40 hours per week) with a possibility to extend.
This is a great opportunity if you are eager to work independently and efficiently as well as challenge yourself and put knowledge into practice to realise the exciting projects of Siciliamia.
We are looking for a landscape architect who has creative ideas knowledge of materials and landscape styles used traditionally around the areas of Sicily as well as rules and regulations of building in Italy.
Whilst achieving the design goals of Siciliamia we encourage freedom in the growth and expression of unique ideas!
The internship is onsite in Ragusa starts in June/October 2025 and is for 3-9 months.

Skills
Clear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Good analytical skills clearly communicate through sketching digital imaging to enhance/manipulate design concepts
Must know Computer-Aided-Drawing (AutoCAD) and 3D design modelling Tools (SketchUp Rhino etc).
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
A Master s Degree is a plus
Ability to be proactive and work independently to drive projects to completion.
Be ready to pick up this project own it and champion it!
Resourceful with a startup mentality; ability to come up with creative solutions when confronted with challenges.
Agile mindset and can-do attitude.
What you ll be responsible for:
Analysing/elaborating drawings of properties.
Researching materials and proposing new solutions for the projects.
Assisting the company in improving and optimising the efficiency of the properties as well as materials to be used.
Helping with the implementation of green energies.
Giving ideas and feedback related to interior design.
Doing research and assisting in possible requirements and permissions.
