The Role
NewRocket is a global team made up of ServiceNow professionals who help our customers run and grow their ServiceNow environments. We are hiring aServiceNow Senior Software Engineer with ITOM & ITAM experience. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who provide the development of project professional services for customers. The Senior Software Engineer will implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale more complex professional services projects.

What You Will Be Doing
- As a Senior Software Engineer you will interface with end-users key stakeholders to gather systems requirements for ITOM & ITAM.
- Support and maintain ServiceNow modules includingITSMITAM andITOM.
- Strong experience with ITOM (CMDB Discovery) & Platform processes and can guide customers through understanding technical solutions to their business requirements
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on ServiceNow platform issues.
- Resolve issues related toMID Server connectivityCMDB Discovery and integration errors
- Support and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders & end users to understand requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Participate in platform upgrades clone patching and performance optimization initiatives.
- Promote your update sets and data across applicable SN environments
- Ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development and configuration.
- Align with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure consistent approach that does not break shared patterns
- Document technical solutions workflows and issue resolutions.
What You Bring Along
- 5 years experience supporting the implementation administration configuration and/or development of ServiceNow in ITSM ITOM & ITAM
- Provenexperience with implementing withimplementing ServiceNow CMDB Discovery Software Asset Management ITSM Service Catalog and Workflows to meet business requirements
- Experience working with Web Services Integration (SOAP REST) and any bi-directional automated integration between two systems.
- Data Extraction Technologies (e.g. JDBC ODBC) or ETL integrations
- Proven experience with implementing ServiceNow CMDB Discovery Software Asset Management ITSM Service Catalog and Workflows to meet business requirements
- Deep understanding of the ServiceNow CMDB and all related processes
- Knowledge of all aspects of ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules Client Scripts UI Builder Scripted REST APIs and Script Includes
- Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation
Education:
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems or demonstrated work experience
Required Certifications:
- Certified System Administrator(CSA)
- Certified Application Developer(CAD)
- CIS - ITSM
- At least oneCIScertification from the following:
- CIS HAM
- CIS SAM
- CIS Discovery
