Primary Responsibilities:
- To provide supportive services that will assist in meeting the needs of students.
- Prepare and communicate clear objectives which guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum and/or individual goals.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Work cooperatively with other school personnel in the identification diagnosis and remediation of individual students with specialized needs.
- Make provisions for parental communication through conferences and other means to discuss student progress and interpret the school program.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree and appropriate Illinois State Teaching Certification. LBS1 required.
