Job Description
Benchmark Human Services has grown to become one of the most respected leaders in the country in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health. We work with people of all ages at home at work and in the community through residential programs employment services crisis response day services and more.
Our South Bend IN office is looking to hire a Receptionist to conduct basic reception duties including customer service and secretarial duties for program directors and human resources as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
- Answers inbound calls and direct to appropriate staff person
- Greet customers and potential applicants
- Assist employees with copier Fax and computer issues
- Data entry
- Filing for all departments
- Typing as assigned
- Order supplies and maintenance for office
- Distribute incoming mail and faxes to staff mailboxes
- Make copies as requested by Directors or as required for staff or applicants
- Lock client file cabinets at end of shift
- Assist with IT issues/needs as requested
- Sort and distribute client meds following delivery
- Report any suspected abuse neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to multi-task and handle detail
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in reception and/or office duties or associates degree in business
