The hours are 6:00am - 6:00pm and the schedule is 5 on 5 off 2 on 2 off.
We are searching for a Heat Technician to support operations at the Chesapeake VA facility.
Essential Functions of the job include (but are not limited to):
- Monitoring all tanks which are required to be heated to a specified temperature per work orders.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in an industrial environment
- The availability to work a rotating shift including weekends and holidays
- Experience with tank maintenance and heating tanks
- Strong organizational skills
- Manual dexterity
- Knowledge of hazardous material
