VIP Lounge Bartender
Sodexo Live! Hard Rock Stadium is a global entertainment destination which is the home of the Miami Dolphins University of Miami football team Orange Bowl Super Bowl LIV and the 100th anniversary of the NFL International soccer and a host of world-class events including the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Job Summary:
The VIP Lounge Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages to VIP guests in a refined upscale setting. This role combines mixology expertise with polished guest service to deliver a premium experience. The bartender must maintain exceptional product knowledge ensure compliance with all service standards and contribute to the sophisticated ambiance of the lounge.
Key Responsibilities:
Beverage Preparation & Service
Prepare and serve a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including signature cocktails wines beers and specialty drinks.
Present beverages with elegant brand-consistent garnishing and glassware.
Ensure accuracy in taking and fulfilling orders while maintaining a clean and efficient bar setup.
Manage proper portion control and follow all recipes and lounge standards.
VIP Guest Experience
Greet guests warmly and engage in professional friendly conversation while maintaining discretion.
Anticipate guest needs and offer recommendations based on preferences.
Provide thoughtful personalized service to enhance the VIP experience.
Handle special requests dietary restrictions or custom drink orders with skill and professionalism.
Bar Maintenance & Setup
Set up and break down the bar before and after service ensuring all tools ingredients and supplies are ready.
Maintain cleanliness organization and inventory of the bar throughout the shift.
Ensure that all beverages are stored and rotated properly according to lounge policies and health standards.
Restock bar inventory as needed and alert management of low-stock items.
Compliance & Safety
Adhere strictly to responsible alcohol service guidelines and local liquor laws.
Check guest identification where required and refuse service to visibly intoxicated guests escalating as appropriate.
Follow health and sanitation regulations ensuring all equipment and surfaces are cleaned regularly.
Record beverage usage wastage and sales as required.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with VIP servers food runners and lounge staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Support service team during busy periods by assisting with beverage orders or providing table-side service when needed.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff for specialty beverage pairings or food orders when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a luxury lounge hotel or upscale bar environment.
Proven knowledge of mixology wine spirits and beverage presentation.
Excellent interpersonal communication and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and a polished professional demeanor.
Additional Requirements:
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in your region.
TIPS ServSafe Alcohol or Responsible Beverage Service certification (preferred or required by local law).
Ability to work flexible hours including nights early mornings weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
Upscale VIP lounges (e.g. airport first-class lounges luxury hotel lounges private clubs).
Sophisticated calm or exclusive atmospheres.
Fast-paced during peak service hours requiring both discretion and efficiency.
