Job Description

This is an official notification that USD #364 Marysville is seeking applications for an opening in the following position.

Student Data Reporter

Starting wage is $17.66 per hour with a 40 hour work weekand an 11 month contract.We offer Health Dental and Vision coverage.

Primary Purpose

Responsible for maintaining student academic records at the building level under minimal supervision. Assist school administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

High school or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records

Ability to use software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases and do word processing

Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills

Basic math skills

Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills

Essential Job Functions

  1. Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain student academic records and process requests for information and transcripts. Process new student records including requesting transcripts and records from other schools.
  2. Coordinate grade reporting process including verification and correction of grades and preparation and distribution of report cards.
  3. Prepare and distribute eligibility lists.
  4. Calculate grade point averages class rank and prepare honor rolls.
  5. Assist counselors with the enrollment withdrawals and transfer of students.
  6. Assist school administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.
  7. Compile maintain and file all reports records and other documents as required.
  8. Coordinate the ordering and distribution of all graduate materials including caps and gowns and diplomas.
  9. Maintain confidentiality of information.
  10. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  11. Comply with all district policies rules and regulations.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Mental Demands/Physical Requirement/Environmental Conditions:

  1. Requires the ability to maintain emotional control while under stress and in stressful situations.
  2. Requires the ability to frequently sit for prolonged periods of time.
  3. Requires the ability to use standard office equipment including computer and peripherals and other instructional equipment for prolonged periods of time.
  4. Requires the ability to frequently use repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and mouse use.
  5. Requires the ability to occasionally bend/stoop push/pull twist or reach.
  6. Requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry items 25 lbs. or less.
  7. Requires the ability to work and concentrate in noisy and crowded environments.
  8. Requires the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
  9. Requires timeliness and regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.
