As a Parks Maintenance/Grounds Worker Temporary (Extra-Hire) you will get to work in many park settings and facilities. Youll work alongside other parks maintenance professionals to accomplish challenging and rewarding tasks and projects. In this role you will be a part of the team maintaining the Central Region parks and facilities. The Central Region is responsible for parks in Tacoma Parkland and Spanaway; with the majority of the work for these positions being done at Spanaway Park. What we do directly impacts and improves the quality of life for Pierce County residents.

You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks for grounds buildings structures and equipment within the Parks Department.
