Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Welders to join our team. The ideal candidatewelder joins metal parts using a tool that generates intense heat.
A welder can also polish and smooth out metal surfaces they weld will use either a computer to remotely control equipment or hand-held equipment to cut or join metal parts fill a hole or fix seams in metal.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing blueprints
Managing machines that manufacture and repair metal structures tools and equipment
Planning layouts and measurements
Testing welded surfaces
Joining metal parts using intense heat
Polishing and smoothing out metal surfaces
Using either computer-controlled or hand-held equipment to cut or join metal parts fill holes or fix seams.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder with a minimum of three (3) years in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws squares calipers etc.).
A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
Ability to physically stand bend squat and lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Working Conditions:
May require standing bending lifting and exposure to heat or cold.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
