Position Summary: The Associate Director Field Medical Capabilities will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and operational excellence that elevate the capabilities impact and efficiency of Traveres Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team. This role will play a critical function in driving systems integration data-driven insights the execution of training and cross-functional collaboration that support our scientific engagement strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director of MSLs this leader will ensure that field medical teams are equipped to deliver high-quality scientific exchange and support the evolving needs of our internal and external Responsibilities:Strategic Capability DevelopmentoLead development of MSL Coaching and Development programs in collaboration with Regional DirectorsoProvide input to global training lead on needs for MSL onboarding and ongoing development aligned with GMA strategy and therapeutic area with cross-functional teams (e.g. Training IT Commercial Ops PAX Clinical) to implement resources systems and processes that enhance field medical ExcellenceoProvide subject matter expertise and support for existing tools and platforms for KOL identification profiling and engagement including CRM tools insight collection KOL management databases & data visualization tools for tracking and reporting KOL engagement metrics and outcomes oDrive initiatives to improve scientific exchange quality insight capture and field force and oversight of MSL slide decks and resources to be used in external identify and resolve inefficiencies by streamlining processes removing redundancies and proposing new operational infrastructure where neededProvide guidance and training on systems and tools to drive adoption and efficiency across the Field Medical organizationField Excellence and EngagementoDevelop and lead process for documenting and sharing best practices within MSL teamoCollaborate and facilitate MSL-focused training workshops and leads development and implementation of national MSL summits and capability-building as the primary liaison for internal partners to align training needs and scientific & ImpactoEstablish and track KPIs to measure field medical performance engagement quality and value development of MSL portion of the quarterly impact with analytics and insights teams to translate data into actionable recommendations and as the primary operational lead for Field Medical for the medical affairs IT Governance the development and implementation of key performance metrics analytics and processes including tools and other resources to monitor and measure Field Medical performance and impact against established metrics including monthly and quarterly -Functional CollaborationoAct as a key connector between Field Medical and broader GMA and Commercial partners ensuring alignment in strategic input into medical planning scientific awareness continuum frameworks and stakeholder engagement Requirements: Advanced degree (PharmD PhD MD or equivalent) required. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Medical Affairs or related roles in the biopharmaceutical industry with at least 2 years in a field-based or MSL Skills/Experience/Requirements: Proven experience designing and delivering field medical training and capability in implementation science highly desirableDeep understanding of Medical Affairs operations compliance and field engagement best project management facilitation and stakeholder communication in CRM and field medical systems (e.g. Veeva Medical Tableau MIRO Microsoft Teams SharePoint).Experience in rare diseases or nephrology is a success in leading change building scalable solutions and driving cross-functional thinking with a focus on -functional leadership and fluency and operational communication and interpersonal for elevating scientific engagement and patient is an EEO/AA/Veteran/Disability EmployerTotal Rewards Offerings:

Target Base Pay Range:
$146000.00 - $190000.00*This information is current as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including the candidates experience education skills and location.
