What You Will Do:

  • Follow technical specifications and detailed assembly instructions to produce a consistent high-quality product.
  • Take ownership for accuracy of processes and resulting costs.
  • Accurately read and follow procedures routing and other work instructions.
  • Focus on building parts that meet customer expectations & deadlines and owning the quality of your work.
  • Participate in LEAN initiatives cost reduction scrap reduction process improvement etc.
  • Effectively plan and prioritize work to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain continuing education upskilling and special process certification requirements.
  • Develop subject matter expert knowledge of the end use for completed products and the customers that purchase them.
  • Champion safety and comply with all safety protocols including hazardous waste disposal programs and daily 5S and cleaning.
  • Mentor and assist in development of less experienced assemblers sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups to update inform acknowledge or resolve problems related to business issues.
  • Communicate complex technical terminology orally and in writing.
