Our team in Ashford team are actively seeking to recruit a 18T Driver with HIAB experience. If you are looking for rewarding role with no unsociable hours and enjoy working in a friendly supportive team this opportunity is perfect for you!
Your Job
As a customer-facing driver you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Ashford and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include:
- Efficient & Safe Operation: Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely.
- Compliance: Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.
- Timely Deliveries: Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.
- Customer Service: Represent JDP at the point of delivery providing excellent customer service and upholding JDPs strong reputation.

Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum Class C Licence: Essential for operating our vehicles.
- Driver CPC card: Essential.
- Digital Tacho Card: Essential for compliance.
- Haib qualification : Essential
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety.
- Driver Procedures: Detailed knowledge of driving hours rules and regulations.
- Route Planning: Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Forklift Truck Experience: Advantageous but not essential.
