Job Description

For one of our ongoing Long Term Multi-Year project out of the Chicago-land area we are looking for a Data Architect Strong in GCP Data Architecture Snowflake and Data vault.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead implementation of scalable and secure data platforms including data lakes data warehouses and real-time pipelines.
  • Define data standards best practices and architecture artifacts (data models lineage catalogs).
  • Guide modernization initiatives such as cloud data migration data integration and platform optimization.
  • Lead the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) metadata management and data quality frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security privacy and governance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in data architecture and enterprise-level data strategy.
  • Proficiency with data modeling (conceptual logical physical) data warehousing and distributed data systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) big data technologies and ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend).
  • Deep knowledge of databases like Snowflake SQL Server Oracle or BigQuery.
  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g. Collibra Alation) and data cataloging solutions.
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and scripting in SQL or Python.
