This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Your Role

Are you passionate about change management and bringing organizations through the project process from conception to adoption In this role youll support the Digital Media division in developing and delivering engagement initiatives focused on change and transformation.

Reporting to the Senior Director Digital Operations youll join the Digital Media team where a major initiative is underway to modernize Radio-Canadas digital ecosystem and make it more resilient in an evolving media environment. This exciting work will be done in close cooperation with various departments and will greatly contribute to build the public broadcasters future.

As Adviser Business and Strategic Planning youll be responsible for planning and executing business change strategies with all the relevant digital teams in line with the overall direction set by Digital Media leadership. Your role will be to serve as liaison between multiple stakeholders to support a coherent unified strategy. Youll also work with business leaders to ensure they become change sponsors and youll support the design development delivery and management of Digital Media project communications. Youll also take care of Digital Media internal communications.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration or a combination of relevant training/experience.

Experience

  • Five or more years relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working on digital projects.
  • Experience in organizational change and user adoption.

Functional Skills

  • Conflict mediation skills.
  • Ability to identify business issues and challenges.
  • Creative writing skills for various communication channels.
  • Ability to analyze and make complex information understandable.
  • Influential leadership and ability to foster participatory collaboration.
  • Good general knowledge and high degree of curiosity (acquiring and developing new skills and knowledge).
  • Keen interest in innovation and technology.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Technical Skills

  • Practical knowledge of change management approaches (people processes and technologies).
  • Proficiency with IT management tools such as Google Workspace and Gemini.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence production tools.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French.

Please note this is a 12-month contract position renewable annually. This regular position is not a consulting assignment and has attractive CBC/Radio-Canada employee benefits.
