Job Description Summary
The Senior Director Resilience plays a critical leadership role in advancing the companys enterprise-wide resiliency strategy while also serving as a key integrator across the Resilience Center of Excellence (COE). The company is structured into four business SegmentsImaging Pharmaceuticals (PDx) Patient Care Solutions (PCS) and Advanced Visualization Solutions (AVS)supported by enterprise Functions such as HR Finance and others. This role supports one Segment and one Function while also driving coordination across Segments and Functions.
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Continuity & Resiliency the Senior Director is responsible for delivering both business continuity and end-to-end resiliency initiatives in addition to Segment-level execution this role leads cross-functional and cross-Segment initiatives ensures alignment across the resilience team and helps close operational and strategic gaps. The Senior Director also acts as a key operational partner to the Head of Resiliencysupporting team leadership driving enterprise-wide priorities and serving as a primary back-up during crisis events.
This role requires strong executive presence the ability to influence senior stakeholders and a proactive and strategic approach to leading complex enterprise-level programs.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for critical sites and functions aligned with enterprise resilience goals.
- Drive end-to-end supply chain resiliency planning by assessing threats risks mapping value streams and shaping strategies for high-priority operations.
- Partner with Disaster Recovery teams to align application recovery with business continuity objectives.
- Integrate real-time risk intelligence into segment strategies to enable proactive risk management and faster response.
- Prioritize and lead complex mitigation initiatives that reduce risk and align with business priorities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to Segment and Function leadership guiding mitigation actions and influencing decisions on resilience investments and operational risk.
- Lead climate risk assessments focused on physical threats (e.g. extreme weather flooding wildfires) to critical sites and infrastructure and drive org-wide mitigation strategies that enhance long-term operational resilience.
- Provide leadership during crisis events supporting response coordination mitigation and post-event reviews.
- Lead training and awareness efforts to build resilience capability and embed a culture of preparedness.
- Collaborate with technology data and operations teams to enhance resilience technology tools and dashboards for real-time visibility program management and mitigation.
- Lead coordination between the Resilience COE and segment/function leadership to uphold governance standards evolve global resilience frameworks and drive the design execution and continuous improvement of the enterprise-wide resilience program
- Support leadership continuity as the designated back-up to the Global Head of Business Continuity & Resiliency contributing to strategic decision-making and enterprise-wide alignment.
- Represent the resilience function in executive forums and strategic planning sessions while coordinating all cross-segment/cross-function efforts to identify synergies close gaps and optimize enterprise resilience.
- Define and track resilience KPIs operational outages and other metrics to measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration risk management emergency management or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in resilience business continuity or related disciplines with a proven track record in developing and leading resilience programs.
- Deep understanding of business resilience principles enterprise risk management crisis management climate-risk and supply chain resilience.
- Strong ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams with experience driving strategic initiatives across large complex organizations.
- Proficiency in resilience tools (e.g. Fusion Risk Management Everbridge Castellan etc.) data analysis platforms (e.g. Tableau PowerBI) and crisis management software.
- Experience in leading large-scale projects and managing multiple stakeholders to deliver on-time impactful results.
- Strong communication leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels including senior executives.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs workshops and resilience exercises.
- Professional certifications in Business Continuity (e.g. CBCP MBCI) or Risk Management.
- Manufacturing and supply chain resiliency knowledge and expertise

For U.S. based positions only the pay range for this position is $172480.00-$258720.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills qualifications experience and location. In addition this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
