What Youll Do in This Role:
Make a Difference Every Day as a Dietary Aide!
Join Thome PACE where every meal is an opportunity to bring comfort connection and care to our residents. As a Dietary Aide you play a key role in supporting the Dietitian and assisting participants with a smooth and efficient delivery of breakfast and luncheon meals to ensure they receive delicious nutritious meals. From breakfast smiles to lunchtime conversations youll help create meaningful dining experiences while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve breakfast luncheon meals and snacks to participants.
- Understand and assist with portion-controlled therapeutic and mechanically altered diets.
- Label date and store all food beverages and supplements.
- Complete daily weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Package home-delivered meals and nutritional supplements for transportation.
- Inventory kitchen emergency food stores clinic refrigerator and nutritional supplement stock.
What Youll Need:
- One (1) year of experience as a dietary aide server or working in the food service industry
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience working with frail and elderly individuals.
- Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid and current drivers license.
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
