Job Description
Gileads mission is to discover develop and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As a (Lab Tech III) you are responsible for:
Role Summary:
- This position requires strong adherence to regulatory compliance and safety requirements involving cGMPs SOPs cGLPs and other related documents such as Batch Records and Log Books.
- Strong communication skills required and must be able to work effectively on teams. Must have knowledge of computer operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently performs a wide variety of new and routine laboratory duties.
- Makes and records observations.
- Performs simple calculations.
- May use personal computer to perform technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.
- May collect specimens.
- May perform non-routine chemical processing duties as it applies to supporting drug development in a multipurpose Pilot Plant.
- May identify and resolve routine issues. May assist in design of methods and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and Two (2) Years of relevant experience
OR
- Associates Degree and Four (4) Years of relevant experience
OR
- High School Diploma and Five (5) Years of relevant experience
