Surety Analyst

About Us:We are a boutique surety broker specializing in serving large publicly and privately held companies in Canada. Committed to providing bespoke surety solutions we are seeking a dynamic Surety Analyst to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesIncludes but may not be limited to: Work as part of a team to ensure the efficient processing and management of clients daily surety bond needs including review of bid specs and contracts accompanied with bond requests; facilitate required information exchange between clients and underwriters to secure timely approvals; and issuance and delivery of requested bonds. Maintaining ongoing communication with clients underwriters and producers to ensure a high level of customer service. Responsible for the administrative side of bond issuance and maintenance helping to facilitate the overall surety bond process and supporting the work of underwriters and clients. Manage all administrative service delivery functions including bond issuance modifications renewals and cancellations invoicing file and database management and other related activities. Receive and review incoming bond applications from clients. Verify the completeness and accuracy of application forms and supporting documents. Enter relevant information into the bond processing system. Maintain organized electronic files for all bond-related documents. Act as a liaison between clients underwriters and bondholders providing updates on the status of bond applications and responding to inquiries. Coordinate with underwriters to clarify any missing information or address concerns related to bond bond endorsements and renewals as requested by changes to bond terms and conditions are accurately documented and communicated to relevant accurate records of bond issuance modifications and reports and summaries as needed for internal and external all bond-related processes adhere to company policies industry regulations and best quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in bond documentation.
Qualifications Strong organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective communication skills and a high level of customer service for interacting with clients and internal attention to detail follow-through and analytical in Microsoft Office in the insurance and/or surety industry or equivalent experience is strongly with or ability to learn proprietary applications/databases is degree is preferred but not required if equivalent work to recognize problems establish facts and develop valid to prioritize work and manage time effectively. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions dealing with abstract and concrete variables.
