Job Description

Procurement Manager

Full-Time Remote-Friendly with Occasional Travel

About the Role

Austin Enterprises Group is on a mission to become the go-to source for historic tradespeople restoration contractors and DIYers. Were looking for a hands-on Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and development of tools and products that serve our niche market.

This is an execution-heavy procurement-focused role responsible for sourcing reliable suppliers (both domestic and international) identifying manufacturing partners managing inventory levels and helping bring new products to marketfrom tools to curated parts.

This is not an IT or software product role. Were looking for someone with real-world experience sourcing physical goods developing product lines in manufacturing environments and negotiating vendor contracts to improve cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers (domestically and internationally) for new and existing products
  • Identify and vet tool designers and manufacturers for custom product development
  • Negotiate favorable pricing MOQs and lead times with vendors
  • Execute new product development and white-label launches in collaboration with the Business Development Manager
  • Work closely with marketing and customer service to provide accurate product specs and FAQs
  • Manage inventory levels reorder cycles and product lifecycle performance
  • Continuously review SKU performance and recommend adjustments to improve margins and reduce waste

You consistently bring high-quality cost-effective products to market reduce inventory costs and streamline vendor relationships. You uncover new sourcing opportunities expand our catalog with in-demand items and ensure our products are competitively priced and reliably stocked. By years end your work has enhanced our margins and elevated our reputation in the historic restoration space.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5 years in product sourcing procurement or supply chain operations (manufacturing or e-commerce preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating supplier contracts and improving cost structures
  • Experience sourcing and working with manufacturers domestically and internationally
  • Strong understanding of inventory management cost optimization and MOQ analysis
  • Ability to find and vet industrial/tool designers and custom fabricators
  • Detail-oriented resourceful and highly organized

Compensation

  • Salary: $85000 commensurate with experience
  • Profit Share Bonus potential tied to sourcing and margin KPIs
