Palm Point Behavioral located in Titusville FL is currently recruiting a BC-PMHNP for our Inpatient Programs. Palm Point Behavioral Health is a new 74 bed behavioral health facility located just 20 minutes from Cocoa Beach and designed to be a haven and a resource for our community. We are creating a healing environment for patients whose behavioral health symptoms are interfering with their daily lives. It is our goal to provide excellent behavioral health care for inpatient and outpatient services for children adolescents adults and seniors.

Clinical Duties:
The scope of practice of the Nurse Practitioner shall be evaluation diagnosis and treatment of patients. In particular the treatments offered consist of behavioral interventions health teaching case management discharge planning and the prescribing of medication. Prescribes medication and consistently utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient care to hospital patients. Revises medication and nursing care plans as needed in conjunction with Program Clinical Director and treatment planning goals. Participates in treatment team meetings as directed by Medical Director. Monitors medications and dosages and adjusts as needed. Follows hospital nursing policies and procedures in prescribing medications and treatments.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Masters level Nurse Practitioner program in Psychiatry.
Must have a Florida license and DEA or the ability to obtain and comfortable treating all ages.
PMHNP certification is required.
