JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Coping and Regulation of Environment Stress (CaRES) Lab directed by Dr. Martha Wadsworth in the College of Liberal Arts at Penn State University invites applications for a Part Time Lead Child Participant Assessor in the Harrisburg/Hershey PA area.
The Part Time Lead Child Participant Assessor will have the opportunity to work on a NIMH-funded study investigating the efficacy of the Building a Strong Identity and Coping Skills (BaSICS) program which is a group-based team-building coping and empowerment intervention developed specifically to meet the needs of youth growing up in poverty. This position will mainly be responsible for overseeing the assessments with child participants aged 11-14 within the Harrisburg and Hershey PA areas.
This position is responsible for ensuring assessments are conducted efficiently data is collected accurately and all protocols are strictly followed. Key duties include staff scheduling training materials preparation data verification and addressing any emergent issues including safety concerns. The Lead Assessor plays a vital role in maintaining the quality organization and overall integrity of the assessment process.
