Overview As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer you will lead the design implementation and optimization of Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure scalable and resilient systems that support continuous integration and delivery across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & CI/CD- Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions using ARM templates or Terraform.-
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services.
Automate deployment workflows and routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure robust security and compliance across Azure environments.
- Implement governance frameworks and platform adoption guidelines.
Monitoring & Observability
- Monitor system performance using Azure Monitor Log Analytics Prometheus Grafana and Alert manager.
- Integrate observability tools for proactive issue detection and resolution.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with development teams to integrate code and deploy seamlessly.
- Coordinate with external teams for integration and roadmap alignment.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell Bash and Ansible.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Selenium Playwright or Cypress.
Cloud & Containerization
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s/K3s).
- Support hybrid deployments and edge-to-cloud integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in DevOps with at least 2 years on Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
- AZ-400: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate
- DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- AI-102: Azure AI Engineer Associate
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Experience working closely with application and engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge in Jira Confluence and ServiceNow.
- Good understanding of overall on-prem to cloud migration strategies.
- Proficiency in Terraform Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Infrastructure as Code(IaC).
- Expertise in Azure DevOps and cloud security best practices.
- Experience in application release management and application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools for managing enterprise applications
